Advanced TAC-MED

Course Synopsis: Designed specifically for USSOCOM medics, this course has four main goals:

1. Reinforcement and “hands-on” proficiency testing of all tactical & medical skills required of the worlds most elite combat medics
2. Achieve ALL required CME’s & certifications required of Nat’l Registry of EMT’s
3. Team Building and Inter-Service Operability of SOF assets
4. Strengthen and improve existing firearm skills and ground tactics

Course Objectives: Upon completion each student will achieve ALL required CME’s & certifications required of National Registry of EMT’s.

*Must submit background questionnaire

Prerequisites: This school is PHYSICALLY DEMANDING! Prospective applicants will be expected to lift heavy objects, function in confined spaces, and be required to shoot/move/communicate under stressful conditions. Each student is expected to be PROFICIENT in safe handling and shooting with a semi-automatic pistol and M16/M4 type rifle. Students must also be physically capable of quickly and safely assuming standing, kneeling, and prone positions, maintaining them for a period of time, in adverse conditions, and recovering without assistance.

Certification: BLS/CPR-HCP, ACLS, PHTLS, PALS

Course Length: 11 Days

Tuition Cost: $2400 plus ammunition requirements

Minimum capacity seating: 10 Course Participants

Maximum capacity seating: 24 Course Participants
