(PALS) Instructor Certification

Course Synopsis: The purpose of a PALS Instructor Course is to develop proficiency in teaching, organizing and conducting a provider course. PALS Instructors must have a firm working knowledge of the PALS material.

Course Objectives: Participants are expected to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of emergency cardiac care. Currently accepted principles of adult learning; the use of interactive teaching strategies; and the ability to sequence instruction and evaluate progress are essential parts of the course.

Prerequisites: Must posses current BLS and PALS Provider Cards Instructor Potential recommendation form

Required Equipment: Current Textbook Materials

Certification: PALS Instructor Card Valid for 2 years

Course Length: 8 Hours

Tuition Cost: $300

Minimum capacity seating: 6 Course Participants

Maximum capacity seating: 24 Course Participants
