Course Synopsis: Constructed by the American Heart Association (AHA), this course is designed to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes.
Course Objectives: Established for persons who have previously attended the AHA PALS program and require a refresher program. Candidates must possess a current PALS card. This course is for pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, EMT’s, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.
