Paramedic Skills Proficiency

Course Synopsis: This curriculum was built to provide an arena for hands-on patient assessment and treatment for Military and Law Enforcement medical professionals who otherwise do not have routine patient contact.

Course Objectives:
The course is divided into four phases:

Phase 1: Provisional License Testing (1 Day)
Phase 2: Evaluation shifts (4 Days)
Phase 3: Skill reinforcement (1 Day)
Phase 4: Proficiency shifts (4 Days)

Prerequisites:
1. Must be an active National Registry EMT-Paramedic
2. Upon enrollment, students will be provided the SNHD paramedic protocols.
3. Students MUST study these protocols prior to attending this program.
4. Students MUST successfully pass the SNHD protocols exam to obtain a provisional 6-month paramedic license.

Required Equipment: Closed toed shoes in good condition, Solid color BDU or EMT pants, Stethoscope, Small flashlight

Equipment provided: 3 ea. Paramedic Shirts

Course Length: 12 Days

Tuition Cost: $2400

Minimum capacity seating: 10 Course Participants

Maximum capacity seating: 24 Course Participants
