Course Synopsis: This course is the initial 24 hours of educational requirement for endorsement as a Secondary EMS Instructor by the Southern Nevada Health District EMS and Trauma System Office for EMS personnel in Southern Nevada.
Course Objectives: Provide foundational principles for EMS education for a new EMS educator in: philosophy, standards, ethics, legal issues, competencies, cognitive and psychomotor aspects.
Audience: Public health professionals with an aptitude for teaching others.

Required Equipment: Note taking equipment
Certification: Secondary EMS Instructor Certification with SNHD
Course Length: 3 Days
